Hi! I’m Yasmeen - a woman, mother, sister, entrepreneur, creative, and founder of PITIT. I wear many hats but raising my two kids has been my most profound role. I’d be lying if I said birth didn’t radicalize me nor anchor my health-centered approach to life in an ever-evolving modern world. I am an amalgamation of my creative spirit, herbal knowledge, and rebellious heart (the last of which, it turns out, is a superpower in business).  

I’ve always loved creating looks and expressing myself through style. For a long time, it felt worlds apart from my naturalist and herbalist path– but I’ve come to realize that they are deeply intertwined and creativity leans directly into my herbalist practice. Making teas, herbal blends, and tinctures takes just as much curiosity and willingness to experiment. It also creates a sacred connection to the earth and to the medicine women, healers, and ancestors who mastered this craft long before me. 

As society moves faster toward a tech-driven future, I find reassurance in returning to the ancient knowledge passed down by our elders. As a mother, I feel a deep responsibility to raise good humans who listen to their bodies, without relying solely on Western medicine, wellness trends, or self-proclaimed gurus. My family is still growing, learning, and evolving but in sharing our journey, I hope you find something meaningful for yours.
